the rue magazine launch party had such a fantastic turnout. i had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised to see SO much love & support for this new project of ours!

my rainbow-ish dress? it's jens. she absolutely saved the day and let me rummage through her closet before i left for new york. and yes, yes...that IS a fabulous ban.do in my hair, obviously :)

i met some people i felt like i knew already through their blogs, but hadn't actually met before, like cassie from coco kelley & emily henderson...i also spy anne & crystal in there!

the night was a true success! i am so happy i decided to hop on that plane at the last minute! this is the beginning of a very very exciting road ahead...
