s: "I have been decorating on the cheap ever since I can remember, long before I fell into this profession. It's all about being shopping savvy, sometimes a little DIY elbow grease is needed and definitely patience. If possible, I suggest investing in one piece, like a sofa for example (btw love your new sofa bri!). It should last you for many, many years to come and it's a great base to build your room off of. Then, it's time to get your shop on at garage sales, thrift stores, craigslist, flea markets, etc. Yes, it does take a little extra time to dig, but treasure hunting is all part of the fun. Mixing new and found pieces will leave you with a space that looks like it was put together over time. Good luck!"
